The Roadrunner Studio and Gallery opened in January, 2020 in the heart of Madrid across from the boardwalk. The gallery features over a dozen local artist that include paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel and mixed media, and it also contains photography, wood and metal sculptures, jewelry, and books by local artists. The gallery includes the working studio of the owner, Dale McDonnell. The gallery has a beautiful courtyard that features national recognized kinetic sculptures created by Jim LaPaso. Johnsons of Madrid - The first gallery opened in Madrid since the mining days. Features works from the region from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. The Johnsons are located directly across from the Mineshaft Tavern near the South end of town. Open 10-6pm

Ghost Town Trading and Boarding - American indian art and crafts. Open 10-5pm Just north of the boardwalk on the east side of Hwy 14.

10pm Steampunk - 10PM Steampunk features the genre of steampunk including owner's original steampunk designs of the past 25 years as well as area artists' lamps and sculptures. We have a variety of steampunk clothes, hats, and accessories as well as a colorful line of clothes from Nepal. It's a fun and unusual shop so do stop in when in Madrid!
