Sea Properties
At the North end of the town next to the Old Boarding House

What once was the oceans' floor is now low mountain desert.  Think pinion, juniper, yucca, purple blooms of cholla, yellow blooms of prickly pear, roadrunners, jackrabbits, coyotes and petroglyphs.  There is an area between Santa Fe and Albuquerque that epitomizes this vision.  It is only minutes away from either city and yet it is another world.  It is the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway (St. Hwy. 14) running through Lone Butte, Cerrillos, Madrid and Golden.  We know this area. We know the roads, the land, the people and the history.  Call us and come see us.

Sid Bryan of Sea Properties says the best thing about living in Madrid is that everyone is there because they want to be. Because it was virtually a ghost town from the late fifties until the mid seventies, most of its residents are fairly new, are from someplace else, and choose to live in Madrid. They are for the most part artists and craftspeople who are independent but friendly. The art and gift of living in Madrid can be summed up in two words: Be yourself.

We have residential land in a size for you, 10, 20, 40, 80 or more acres are available.  Spectacular views abound.  Be independent, private wells or roof catchment for water, solar power for energy conservation, quiet and private homesites.  Ride your horse, bike or hike through beautiful arroyos, over grand mesas, and see petroglyphs and ancient ruin sites.
