The Roadrunner Studio and Gallery opened in January, 2020 in the heart of Madrid across from the boardwalk. The gallery features over a dozen local artist that include paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel and mixed media, and it also contains photography, wood and metal sculptures, jewelry, and books by local artists. The gallery includes the working studio of the owner, Dale McDonnell. The gallery has a beautiful courtyard that features national recognized kinetic sculptures created by Jim LaPaso. Indigo Gallery - This fine art gallery shows a wide range of art including painting, jewelry and sculpture. Open daily 10-5pm.

Trading Bird/Turquoise Gem - Trading Bird Gallery features rare Cerrillos Turquoise jewelry by owner and miner Riana Peaker, Mata Ortiz Pottery, Zuni fetishes and more.

Johnsons of Madrid - The first gallery opened in Madrid since the mining days. Features works from the region from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. The Johnsons are located directly across from the Mineshaft Tavern near the South end of town. Open 10-6pm

Gypsy Gem - The Gypsy Gem is the source for rare Cerrillos Turquoise. We have a great selection of Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo jewelry, pottery, fetishes, gifts, and more. Come see our new location and sculpture garden next to the old Madrid boarding house. Open 10 - 5 daily.

Calliope Fine Art & Craft Gallery - Founded in 2018 by Artists Barbara Harnack and Michael Lancaster, this gallery carries some of everything including blown glass, pottery and ceramic sculpture, steel and outdoor sculpture, painting and mixed media, a wide selection of jewelry, folk art, outlaw and outsider art, found object assemblage and more.
